Tramlines have revealed the first wave of its lineup for its 11th edition, due to be held in Hillsborough Park Sheffield this July. These acts include headliners Two Door Cinema Club, Courteeners and Nile Rogers & Chic alongside other great acts including Manic Street Preachers, Doves, Rag n Bone Man and Anteros.
This will mark the second year the Sheffield Festival will be held in Hillsborough Park following its major move to co-incide with it’s 10th Anniversary in 2018.
2018 marks the 10th anniversary of Sheffield’s Tramlines festival, and they have big plans for their birthday.
This year’s festival will be held at Hillsborough Park, with four main stages all being held within this new area. Take a look at the site map below:
Iconic Sheffield venue The Leadmill are curating a stage at this year’s festival. The stage will host both comedy and music acts, with Sheff legend ‘The Reverend’ Jon McClure curating the Sunday night of the festival on that stage.
The ‘Into The Trees’ area returns this year, a lot bigger than 2017. A new stage called the Library stage will showcase left-field artists from a variety of emerging talent.
The Main stage itself will be at the bottom of Hillsborough park, with a view of Hillsborough stadium in the background.
This year’s lineup, due to be announced Thursday 8th Feb, promises to be the biggest yet, with internationally acclaimed acts alongside the hottest emerging talent.

Kiran Leonard has announced a new album, titled ‘Derevaun Seraun’, which is due out 15th September on Moshi Moshi Records. He has shared the first taste of it so far; listen to ‘Living With Ailments’ below:
“DEREVAUN SERAUN” is a piece I wrote a couple years back in five movements for voice, piano and string trio. Each movement is written about a different piece of literature, exploring the value I see in each work and the impression it has made on me” Kiran says about the record.
He has also announced some string -piece backed tour dates for September:

The XX are set to release their third album ‘I See You’ on 13th January, and debut new single ‘On Hold’
